Daughter SCARLETT LADY dominated Australasia’s 3YO filly scene last term, winning the G1 Queensland Oaks, G2 Travis Stakes & G3 Doomben Roses in an amazing 6 strong win streak.

This term, it is his son SANGSTER who has picked up the classic reins. Going one better than Savabeel himself when streaking home to claim 2011's Gr.1 VRC Derby.

Ensuring a remarkable 8.82% stakes winners-to-runners ratio for his classic crop in Australia in 2010/11, SCARLETT LADY’s black-type deeds were joined by the Peter Moody-trained DO RA MI, who rocketed home for the G2 VRC Av Kewney Stakes, and KUDAKULARI, who further stocked Hall of Fame trainer Bart Cumming’s trophy cabinet with the Canberra Guineas.

New Zealand black-type winners include the successful trans-Tasman raider SCARLETT LADY, multiple stakes winner DOWAGER QUEEN, top two-year-old gelding SAVABILL, plus QUEEN SABEEL and WARRENTHEROOSTER.
